As I continue to train for the Men’s Health Chicago Urbanathlon I am tweaking my training to improve my conditioning. Along with progressing my running, I am looking for exercises that I can implement to improve my conditioning. The kettlebell Squat Clean has become one of my favorites both for me and my clients. It is a safe move where we can use a substantial amount of weight, use multiple muscle groups and implement high rep sets to improve fat loss and conditioning safely and functionally. Here are three videos for you to learn the KB Squat Clean. If you are not familiar with kettlebells or Olympic Lifts I would suggest mastering the Goblet Squat and the High Pull first. After you feel comfortable with those two movements you can move on to the Squat Clean.
